 Our aircraft are centrally located in Connecticut, giving  "Easy" access to New York,  Boston,  and the Cape and Islands.

New to Air Charter Service ?

It is basically airborne "Limousine" service

Beginning in 1979:

 John Rutledge, President & Director of Operations started in Air Charter in 1960 as one of the Block Island R.I. Pilots. Then,  in November 1961 He joined the brand new,  "Pilgrim Airlines', one of the pioneer  Commuter Airlines. At that time, Pilgrim also provided Air Charter Services from Waterford, CT. Seeing a need for additional service, Action Air was started in Groton, CT in 1979.  Our name changed in 1984 to "Action Airlines & Action Air Charters"  to reflect starting Commuter Airline scheduled operations.  We now have discontinued Commuter operations and are back to our roots as an Air Charter Service.
